A new opinion poll suggests a slump in support for Sinn Féin, with the party down three points since the previous survey a month ago.
The Business Post Red C poll puts the party at 25%, down from 28%.
Support for Fine Gael was down one point at 19%, although the survey was conducted before Leo Varadkar resigned as party leader.
Fianna Fáil has remains unchanged at 16%.
Independents are on 17%, up three points - a level not seen since before the last general election in 2020.
The Social Democrats are at 6%, down one.
Aontú is up two points to 5%. It is the highest poll rating for the party which campaigned for a No vote in the recent referendums.
Support for the Green Party is up one to 4% while Labour has dropped one to 3%.
People Before Profit/Solidarity is unchanged at 3% .
