Sinn Féin has seen a small increase in support while support for the coalition partners has held steady, according to a new opinion poll.

The Ireland Thinks/Sunday Independent poll suggests support for the main Opposition party has increased by one percentage point to 32%.

Meanwhile, support for the coalition partners has held steady compared to last month, according to the poll.

Fine Gael remains at 20%. Fianna Fáil is a close second at 19% and the Green Party remains at 3%.

The Social Democrats have seen a one-point increase in support to 6%, while independents/others are up from 12% to 13%.

Solidarity/People Before Profit is down two points to 2%, while the poll also suggests that support for the Labour Party is down from 4% to 3%.

According to the poll, Aontú is at 3%, an increase of one point compared to last month's poll.

The Ireland Thinks/Sunday Independent poll was carried out yesterday, with a sample size of 1,136 people and a margin of error of plus or minus 3%.
