The world of Covid-19 economics has seen the Government ramp up borrowing, increase spending and make no commitment about when it will balance the books.
The normal rules have been suspended in the midst of the pandemic.

Even the opposition parties struggled to criticise the huge spending as the State borrowed vast quantities of cash to fight Covid-19.
In the background the ongoing challenges of Brexit and Climate were also tackled.
But sooner or later this administration will have to consider how to balance the books.
