Ossian Smyth, Green Party TD for Dun Laoghaire and Minister of State at the Dept Of Expenditure speaks to an early edition of the Your Politics podcast.
On a strange first six months as a new TD and new Government Minister, he says he understands public anger over Phil Hogan and that Golf dinner. He said rule breaking politicians don't help with the public message in getting through the pandemic.
He said this years budget will be very different to other ones as the fall out of Covid-19 continues.
Minister Smyth said when the Dáil returns next Wednesday he fully expects the reopening of schools to be scrutinized by politicians.
