Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and Fianna Fáil leader Micheál Martin met this evening to discuss the Confidence and Supply arrangement and Brexit.
A Fine Gael spokesperson said that Mr Varadkar and Mr Martin will be meeting again in the coming days following the talks.
Talks between the parties around the review of the agreement continued today.
Earlier, Fianna Fáil said that it expected the review phase of talks with Fine Gael to conclude in the coming days.
The parliamentary party would then be briefed on the outcome of the Confidence and Supply talks.
Fianna Fáil Health Spokesperson Stephen Donnelly said earlier that any question of extending the agreement that underpins the Government can only be considered once the review findings are studied.
He said that whatever happens in the days ahead Fianna Fáil has committed to facilitating the Government until the UK leaves the EU at the end of March.
