1,000 nurses off NMBI register for fee non-payment

Nurses and midwives who were removed from the NMBI register for non-payment of their annual €100 registration fee will have to restore their names before they can legally work in any hospital in Ireland.

NMBI agrees to revert to €100 registration fee

The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland has decided to revert to the €100 registration fee for nurses, to allow for talks with nursing unions on resolving the controversy over its fee increase to €150 for this year.
