Watch: Teens break down door to rescue dogs

Dramatic footage shows a group of teenage boys breaking down the door of a burning home in the US, to rescue two trapped dogs.

The dogs, Rocky and Simba, were saved from the house fire in West Jordan, Utah last weekend.

Ring doorbell footage released yesterday shows four teenagers pounding on the front door, before kicking it open to save a dog trapped inside.

"Without a second thought, we just jumped the fence," one of the teenagers told local news station KSL TV-5.

"We got down there to see if we could help, see what we could do."

No one was injured in the fire, which resulted in the house being burned down entirely.

In a post on social media, the owner of the home Beria Gonzales said: "Literally the sweetest boys they were able to save our dogs from our house that caught on fire. So grateful for them!"
