One man casually filmed himself in front of a large tornado funnel in the US city of Gary, saying to the camera: "Just a little tornado behind me."
Reuters independently verified the location by matching the electricity lines, road signage, road line patterns, terrain, and greenery in the footage to file and satellite imagery.
The date was verified through corroborating reports in local media.
