Watch: Fearless 102-year old woman celebrates birthday with a sky dive

A 102-year old woman, Manette Baillie, celebrated her birthday by throwing herself out of a small plane to sky dive over Suffolk, England, on Sunday.

The fearless centenarian, who was married to a paratrooper, served in the Women's Royal Navy Service during World War 2.

After completing the 2,133 metre jump, Ms Baillie became Britain's oldest skydiver.

It was not her first time seeking the thrill and challenge of high speeds: to mark her 100th birthday she drove a racing car at 209 km/h.

Ms Baillie's parachute jump was undertaken to raise money for charity.

As soon as she landed, Ms Baillie was asked how it was.

"Oh it was wonderful," she said totally composed.
