To highlight the dangers of improperly deep-frying a Thanksgiving turkey, the fire department released a video showing what can go wrong.

"Phoenix firefighters demonstrating how NOT to fry a turkey this holiday season," the department wrote next to the video.
Their top tips: fully thaw the turkey before deep-frying, use the correct amount of oil, and never deep-fry indoors.
