A couple pushing a stroller in Phoenix, Arizona had a narrow escape recently, when they were nearly hit by a car after a driver ran a red light – only for another car to crash into the speeding vehicle.
The couple were crossing a busy junction when the incident happened, with the speeding vehicle missing them by only a few metres.

Police say the driver of the speeding car, and a woman with him, ran off after the incident.
The man was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
The driver of the other vehicle was hurt, but her injuries are not life-threatening.
