Spanish border police say they discovered a man travelling from Morocco crammed behind a car glove box in an attempt to reach Europe.

The car was stopped by police while trying to enter Spain’s North African enclave of Melilla on Saturday.

Three vehicles in the space of three hours were found to be hiding Moroccan migrants, with a total of four migrants, including a 15-year-old girl, found hidden in vehicles on the day, according to the Guardia Civil.

Local reports say that three Moroccan men, aged 19, 30 and 31, were arrested on suspicion of people smuggling.
