Students at NUI Galway are learning to unwind ahead of exams - with a little help from Max the labrador.
The dog, who is owned by a professor in the Zoology Department at the university, makes supervised visits to the library to help students shake off the stresses of study.
Students say he provides a welcome distraction, as well as a reminder of home for those used to having animals around.
