Volunteers from Llandudno Lifeboat RNLI and Conwy Lifeboat rescued a woman who had become marooned on a sandbank in Wales after walking her dog on New Year's Day.
With the tide still rapidly rising and the light failing, the lifeboats quickly rushed to the scene and found the water starting to surround her.
Both the woman and her dog were taken ashore on an inshore lifeboat to warm up.
