Thai Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha referred reporters to a cardboard cut-out of himself for questions on politics during a news briefing.
Local media said the cut-outs were prepared for school students so that they could take photos.

The prime minister said in December that he would use a special order that gives the military sweeping powers to allow political parties to prepare for next year's general election.
He recently made a comment saying he was now a politician who was formerly a soldier.
