A man in his 20s has been arrested after he failed to stop at a garda checkpoint in Co Cork at the weekend.
The driver of a tractor pulling a slurry tank he failed to stop at the checkpoint near Whitegate on Saturday afternoon.
He was pursued by gardaí, who said he began driving erratically, serving in the opposite direction and endangering other road users.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested.
He has been charged with a number of road traffic offences and is due before Midleton District Court on Thursday morning.
