A man in his 50s has died following a road crash in Co Cork.
The single-vehicle crash occurred at Castletownroche shortly before 1pm.
The man, who was travelling alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.
The road was closed for a technical examination, but has since reopened.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, or any road users with camera footage (including dash-cam) from the area between 12.30pm and 1pm, to contact Fermoy Garda Station on 025 82100, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
