Three people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of cannabis worth more than €470,000.
In a joint intelligence-led operation involving Revenue, the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and the Cork North West Drugs Unit, 23.6kg of suspected herbal cannabis, with an estimated value of €472,000, was seized in Co Cork yesterday.
Two men, aged in their 30s, and a woman in her 20s were arrested and are being held at garda stations in Co Cork.
Investigations are ongoing.
