Motorists are being urged to drive with care as heavy rain in the parts of the south of the country may lead to difficult travelling conditions, with a Status Yellow warning under way for four counties.
A Status Yellow rain warning came into effect at 2pm this afternoon for Cork, Kerry and Waterford.
The warning will last until 9am tomorrow, while Wexford came under a Status Yellow rain warning from 8pm this evening, which will last until 10am tomorrow.
Met Éireann said persistent rain, "heavy at times" is forecast, which may cause localised flooding.
