A woman in her 70s has died following a road collision in Co Limerick yesterday.
The collision, involving two cars, occurred on the N21 at Templeglantine West, Co Limerick at around 11.50am.
The woman, who was driving one of the cars, was taken to University Hospital Limerick where she was pronounced dead.
Another woman in her 70s, who was a passenger in the second car, was taken to University Hospital Kerry with non-life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was travelling in the area between 11am and noon yesterday, particularly anyone with camera footage (including dash-cam) to contact Bruff Garda Station on 061-382940, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
