A man has been arrested as part of the investigation into the death of a 49-year-old man, who was found unresponsive at a house in Carrick-on-Suir in Co Tipperary earlier this month.
Ian Walsh was pronounced dead at the scene in the Ravenswood estate after emergency services were alerted at around 3.30am on Monday 3 August.
Gardaí said that a man, aged in his late teens, was arrested this morning in connection with the investigation and is being held at a garda station in the Clare-Tipperary division.
Mr Walsh, who was originally from Co Waterford, worked at the local train station.
He previously worked at Kent Station in Co Cork as a signaller and also held other roles with Iarnród Éireann.
