A Status Yellow thunderstorm warning issued by Met Éireann for counties Cork, Kerry and Limerick has come to an end.
The warning came into effect at 9am and ended at 6pm.
The forecaster had warned of the potential for lightning damage, localised flooding, power outages and difficult travelling conditions for counties Cork, Kerry and Limerick.
It will continue dry with hazy spells of sunshine elsewhere with highest temperatures of 18 to 24C.
