A man in his 50s has been arrested in connection with the death of a woman in Nenagh, Co Tipperary last year.
Emergency services were called to a home at St Joseph's Park just after midday on Sunday 4 August 2024.
They discovered the body of 89-year-old Josephine 'Josie' Ray.
Gardaí have arrested a man in his 50s in relation to the investigation into Ms Ray's death.
He is being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
