A man who was driving a ride-on lawnmower has been killed in a collision with a car in Co Tipperary.
The crash happened on the N76 at Kilcash Cross at around 9.50pm last night.
Gardaí said that the driver of the lawnmower, a man aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man's body was taken to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem examination.
No one else was injured in the collision.
The road is closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
An appeal for witnesses has been issued and gardaí have asked that anyone who may have dashcam footage and who were travelling in the area between 9.30pm and 10.30pm to make it available to them.
