A man has been charged with dangerous driving causing death, following an incident in Waterford last year which claimed the lives of two teenagers.
The collision, which involved a bus and an e-scooter, happened in the early hours of 27 June on the Cork Road in Waterford city.
The driver of the bus, 42-year-old Adrian Doyle of Ard Glas, Abbey Road, Ferrybank, Waterford, appeared before Waterford District Court.
Gilbert Collins, 15, and 17-year-old Avuzwa 'Avu' Idris died as a result of the collision.
The court was told that the Director of Public Prosecutions had directed trial on indictment.
Judge Kevin Staunton granted bail to the accused on his own bond of €300.
Mr Doyle is due to appear in court again on 6 May for production of the book of evidence.
