A woman is in a critical condition following a road traffic collision in Killarney, Co Kerry.
The collision, involving a pedestrian and a car, happened at the junction of Countess Road and Rookery Road yesterday evening.
The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 60s, was brought to Cork University Hospital for treatment. Her condition is described as critical.
An examination has been carried out at the scene of the crash and an appeal for witnesses has been issued.
Gardaí are asking for any pedestrians or road users who were in the area between 5.15pm and 6.15pm and who may have camera footage to make it available to them.
