Gardaí have issued an appeal after a woman, 60s, was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Cork last month.

The woman, who was a pedestrian, was hit on the Glengarrif Road in Newtown, Bantry at around 6pm on 30 November.

She remains in hospital where she is receiving treatment for her injuries.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward, particularly those with dashcam footage who were travelling in the area at the time.
