An investigation is under way after a man was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated in Co Cork.
The arrest happened while gardaí were out on patrol in Midleton last night
Gardaí have said that the car the man was driving was extensively damaged and did not have a right front tyre.

The man was stopped while he was driving through Midleton town.
Gardaí said that a blood sample was obtained and sent for analysis and that an investigation is ongoing.
