A man in his 20s has died following a single-vehicle road crash in Co Cork.
The incident happened on a road between Bantry and Ballydehob.
Gardaí were alerted to the crash at 9am.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was brought to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place.
The road is closed while a technical examination takes place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone who was travelling between Bantry and Ballydehob last night or early this morning and who may have camera footage to contact them.
