Two men are due in court charged in connection with an assault in Co Cork.
The men, one aged in his 30s and the other in his 70s, were arrested following the incident in Dunmanway on Saturday evening.
They are to appear before Bantry District Court.
Two men, aged in their 30s, were seriously injured in the incident which happened at a farm on the outskirts of Dunmanway.
Both men are said to be in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
The scene of the incident was examined by a Garda Forensic Investigation team and gardaí said investigations are ongoing.
