A man in his 40s has died after a road crash in Co Clare.
Gardaí responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash on the N85 Ennis bypass at around 12.40pm yesterday.
The male driver of the vehicle was taken to University Hospital Limerick where he later died.
The coroner has been notified.
The N85 Ennis bypass was closed for a time but has since reopened to traffic.
