A woman in her 20s is recovering in hospital after she was stabbed during an assault in Tralee last night.
The incident in the Ballymullen area of the town happened shortly after 11pm.
She was taken to Kerry University Hospital, where she is currently receiving treatment for her injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening.
A technical examination of the scene took place this morning.
Investigating gardaí at Tralee have arrested two men, one in his late teens, the other in his mid-20s. They are being questioning in connection with this incident at Tralee Garda Station.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
