Ten people have been rescued from a boat that got into difficulty off the Blasket Islands in west Kerry.
A distress call was made at 6.15pm when the vessel containing ten people began to take on water south of the Blasket Sound.
Valentia Coastguard coordinated the rescue operation.
The Valentia Lifeboat was tasked to the scene, as well as Shannon-based coastguard helicopter Rescue 115.
The Dingle Coastguard also responded.
Nine people were taken on board a local fishing boat, while one person remained on the stricken vessel in an effort to salvage it.
The boat is now being towed towards Dingle harbour by another local boat, while escorted by the Dingle Coastguard.
There are no reported injuries.
