A man in his 70s has died following a collision in Co Tipperary.
It is understood the pedestrian was injured in the collision involving a car at around 5.50pm yesterday on Castle Street in Cahir.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
Castle Street remains closed for a technical examination and local diversions are in place.
