A woman has been remanded in custody after she was charged in connection with a road crash in Limerick yesterday, which left a man in a critical condition and three women with injuries.
Chloe McNamara, 20, with an address at Sarsfield Gardens in Moyross, appeared before Limerick District Court this afternoon.
Ms McNamara is charged with four offences.
These include three counts of dangerous driving, at or near the Cornmarket Row area of Limerick city, and with one count of failing to give assistance to one of the injured.
Ms McNamara made no reply when charged and is to seek bail tomorrow, the court heard.
Judge Patricia Harney granted free legal aid and remanded the accused in custody to appear before the court tomorrow for a bail application and directions from the DPP.
