An investigation is under way after an armed robbery at a shop and post office in Co Cork.
Two masked men entered the premises in Ballinhassig at 3.55pm yesterday afternoon and demanded money.
One of the men was armed with a shotgun, while the other had a machete.
The men left the scene in a grey Citroen C3 car, which is believed to have been driven by a third man.
They drove towards Spur Hill/Liberty Hill and the car was found on fire in a field near Spur Hill at 4.20pm.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Anyone who was on Spur Hill Road in Ballinhassig between 3.45pm and 4.30pm is asked to contact investigating gardaí at Bandon Garda Station on 023-8852200, the Garda Confidential line on 1800-666111, or any Garda station.
