Residents of a nursing home in Co Kerry are to be relocated following an outbreak of Covid-19.

Last week, a court ordered the HSE to take over the running of the privately operated Oaklands Nursing Home near Listowel on foot of concerns raised by HIQA.

Alternative accommodation must now be secured for the 23 remaining residents.

Families say they are concerned about what the future holds for their loved ones.

Six residents at the nursing home have died after testing positive for Covid-19, the HSE said.

It took over management of the facility after inspectors found "a centre in chaos".
