Gardaí in Cork seized over €40,000 worth of cannabis and arrested four men in two separate incidents yesterday.
Two men, both aged in their 30s, were arrested after cannabis worth approximately €20,000 was seized after controlled delivery was made at a house in the Banduff area of Mayfield in Cork city.
Also €3,650 in cash was seized at the property.
In a separate operation, gardaí seized approximately €23,000 of cannabis during the search of a car in the Model Farm Road area of the city.
The two male occupants of the car, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested at the scene.
The four men are being held at Mayfield and Bridewell Garda Stations.
