Two men have been injured following a shooting incident in Co Clare.
Gardaí say that a number of shots were fired in the village of Sixmilebridge at around 12.20am.
The men, aged 21 and 66, were found at the scene with gunshot wounds.
They were brought to University Hospital Limerick.
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The scene of the shooting has been preserved for an examination.
