Man killed in two-car collision in Co Limerick

A man in his 40s has been killed in a road collision in Co Limerick.

The two car collision happened on the N21 near Croagh at around 7.30pm this evening.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick where a post mortem will be carried out.

Another man was injured in the collision and he was taken to University Hospital Limerick.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
