Two men in their 30s have been arrested in connection with the seizure of firearms and illegal drugs in Co Clare.
The two men were detained this morning, following searches at a number of properties in the Ennis area.
The searches related to recent drugs and firearms incidents in Co Clare.
They were also connected to the seizure in August last year of a sub-machine gun, ammunition, and around €125,000 of suspected cocaine and cannabis herb in the Sixmilebridge area.
The two men are being held at Ennis and Shannon garda stations.
