Two Vietnamese men have been charged in connection with the discovery of a "cannabis cultivation facility" in Co Waterford.
The discovery was made when gardaí from the Tramore Drugs Unit and the Armed Support Unit searched an industrial premises at Waterford Airport Business Park.
Tuyen Hoang Quang, 24, and Thuy Do, 49, were charged with drug offences.
Gardaí told the court there were not convinced about the identities of the men and objected to bail because they are believed to be a flight risk.
It is alleged that the men had been living in the growhouse as there were bedrooms, a kitchen and a bathroom there.
Initially garda estimates had said more than 1,000 cannabis plants were found with an estimated value of €800,000.
However, following further searches of the site, gardaí have said a total of 1,644 plants were found with an estimated value of €1.3m.
