Fire in Cork city centre 'now under control'

Cork City Fire Service say a fire which broke out on the third floor of a business premises in Cork city centre has been brought under control but isn't fully extinguished yet.

The alarm was raised just after 8.45am when smoke was spotted coming from the third floor of L'Attitude, a wine bar on the corner of Anglesea Street and Union Quay.

Formerly the Lobby Bar, five units of the fire service attended the scene.
