More than 20 parked cars were damaged in a Co Cork town in an incident in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The cars were "keyed" with a metal object while they were parked on Castle Street and New Street in Macroom.
The incident happened between 2.15am and 3.15am on Sunday 24 February.
Gardaí have appealled to anyone who witnessed the damage or who may have been in the area at the time to contact them.
They have also appealed to other car owners who may have had their cars damaged to report it to them.
