Gardaí are investigating a suspected assault in Co Cork in which a man suffered head injuries.
The incident happened on Main Street in Carrigaline at around 10pm on Friday night.
The man in his 50s was treated by paramedics after he was assaulted, before being taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment.
Gardaí have said no arrests have been made in relation to the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
