Gardaí have launched a murder investigation into the death of a 27-year-old man in Co Waterford.
The man died following an assault at the junction of John Street and The Manor in Waterford city on Saturday 7 July.
He received head injuries in the assault and was taken to Cork University Hospital where he later died last Friday 13 July.
A 25-year-old man was arrested in relation to the incident but has since been released without charge.
