A man has been charged with assaulting a 27-year-old man who was stabbed in the stomach in the Ardkeen area of Waterford city yesterday.
He remains in intensive care in hospital.
26-year-old Brian Curry, from The Sycamores in Waterford city, is accused of assault causing harm.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Waterford District Court again on Friday.
