A man in his 80s has died in a three-vehicle collision in Co Cork.
The incident, involving two cars and a truck, happened at Two Mile Inn on the N25 Midleton to Castlemartyr Road at around 10.45am this morning.
The man was travelling on his own in one of the cars.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and a forensic investigation is under way.
A man and a woman who were travelling in the second car were taken to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The truck driver was not injured.
