The National Lottery is looking for its latest winner, after a winning Euromillions Plus ticket worth €500,000 was sold on Bere Island in west Cork.
The population of Bere Island is 180.
The winning ticket - a quickpick - was sold at Mary Murphy's post office on Monday.
The winner has yet to come forward.
Ms Murphy, who took over the post office in 1978, said the news is a huge boost to the island, adding that nothing like this has happened on the island before.
She said the island is "buzzing" as news of the win filters around.
