Two people have been arrested following the seizure of guns, ammunition and a replica grenade in Co Wicklow.
A search operation was carried out at a property in Baltinglass yesterday.
During the search, gardaí discovered a number of firearms, including two semi-automatic pistols, along with ammunition and the replica grenade.
A cordon was put in place around the property and the Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service attended the scene, which was later declared safe.
A man in his 30s and a woman, aged in her late 20s, were arrested at the scene and are being held at a garda station in Wicklow.
The firearms have been sent for further technical and ballistic analysis.
Gardaí say that investigations are ongoing.
